Transforming Lives for Good (TLG)

Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) is a UK-based Christian charity that works with churches to support children and young people who are struggling in school or facing challenges in their lives.

TLG runs early intervention coaching programmes, usually one-to-one sessions where a trained coach from a local church meets regularly with a child in school. The goal is to build trust, boost confidence, and help them develop emotional resilience, better behaviour, and a more positive outlook.

What is TLG?

TLG is all about supporting children who are facing challenges, helping them grow in confidence, resilience, and hope. Through one-to-one coaching in schools, it creates a safe, consistent space where children can be heard, encouraged, and supported.

Since 2021 as a church and with Lisburn Cathedral, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with Largymore Primary School, building strong relationships and seeing the real difference this kind of support can make.

It’s simple but powerful, showing up, listening well, and investing in young lives to see them thrive.
